When I wrote these words and the song, No Drama Llama, I was feeling ostracized and out of place. I was struggling with maintaining connection to friends and family while living alone during the panini-demic and trying to get back to myself.

I meditated a lot during this time, an hour at 4am every day, I would then write a song before the sun came up and called my process “songs before sunrise”.

I pushed myself to dig deeper into my thoughts, my musings on my life, spirituality and the things I was experiencing as a human and this song and concept took form.

The producer of the track, David Sisko pushed me to step outside of myself, what I thought looks cool, what pop artists are SUPPOSE to do and this video exemplifies that push to do something different. I worked with the absolute DARLING Bev at Second Wind Llama Farms in New Egypt, NJ meeting her beautiful llamas, hearing her stories of how healing they can be and I had the pleasure of walking around with Ed who was the most magnificent.
